Why Israel Must Accept Peace & a Free Palestinian State
Scott Ritter explains that Hamas didn't kill the hostages; Israel's forces killed the Israeli hostages while they killed Hamas agents, due to panicking because they're incompetent.
Israel supported Hamas in order to divide the Palestinians against each other, to prevent a Palestinian state. But the Israeli scheme backfired. Gaza is an open-air concentration camp, which spawned the Hamas freedom-fighters. Hamas knew that Israel would over-react to Hamas's hostage-taking raid, which would lead to international condemnation of Israel's suppression of the Palestinians.
And the U.S. has been telling Israel to calm down and start allowing Palestine to have self-rule. The current right-wing Israeli leadership has proved to be incompetent and criminal and will soon be replaced.
